Happy Friday Sweet Shoppers! Not only is your favorite day of the week finally here, but this week is extra sweet because not only do I have an amazing array of scrumptious new treats for you to devour, but I also get to show off our latest Featured Designer kit (which I adore), and I get to introduce you to the newest member of the Sweet Shoppe team! I have lots to tell you about tonight, so let’s kick things off with your first look at…
As usual, the designers have created a slew of mouthwatering treats for you to enjoy this week, and I think that no matter whether you’re scrapping your favorite fall photos, your everyday memories or getting ready for the upcoming holidays, we have you covered with some gorgeous choices, so you can’t go wrong!
Even sweeter, the ridiculously sweet and talented Amanda Yi went into the spotlight this morning as our current Featured Designer and the kit she created with Brook & Rachel is just amazing! I seriously love the colors in This Is Home, and I truly think you won’t want to miss having this one in your stash! It’s perfect for boys, girls, family, fall and sooo much more, so check it out below and head to the shoppe to stock up on $10 of your favorite sweet stuff and snag this beauty while you’re at it!
Of course, the big news tonight is that a fabulous new designer is joining the Sweet Shoppe family and we are thrilled to have her! Wendy van der Ploeg of WendyP Designs first caught my attention when she worked with Blagovesta a few months ago to bring us, What I Love About You. That collection was really fun and whimsical, so when her interest in joining us hit my inbox a few weeks ago, the decision for the designers and I was a no brainer!
Wendy’s style is colorful, whimsical, easy to scrap with and focuses on themes that are relevant to memory keepers whose goal is to tell their stories. She’s also a pretty spectacular scrapper who has been involved in our community for a long time too, so she’s really in touch with what scrappers want. I am so proud and excited to welcome Wendy to the team…
Wendy is making her debut with two brand new solo collections, two new collabs with Ru & Blagovesta and three re-releases of kits that have previously been available elsewhere. Whether Wendy is new to you or you’re already a fan, you’ll definitely want to head to the shoppe now to take a closer look at everything she’s bringing to the shoppe this week!
