Happy National Humor Month! Author and Humorist Larry Wilde started this annual celebration in April 1976 to heighten public awareness of the therapeutic value of humor. “Laughter and joy – the benchmarks of humor – lead to improved well-being, boosted morale, increased communication skills, and an enriched quality of life.” (source)
It’s appropriate, then, that this month’s set of This or That? Challenges includes a pair dedicated to humor. Challenge #10a encourages you to Tell a joke on your next page; alternatively, you could choose Option #10b, which asks you to Scrap a memory that makes you laugh.
With this in mind, we looked through the Shoppe and pulled over a dozen products you can use to scrapbook a layout about humor and laughter. Check them out, and remember – in the words of Maya Angelou, “Laugh as much as possible, always laugh. It’s the sweetest thing one can do for oneself & one’s fellow human beings.”
