Featured Designer Faves – Captivated Visions
Hello Sweet Shoppers! It’s Black Friday and this weekend’s newest releases have already hit the shoppe and they’re all AMAZING!! My jaw dropped over & over this past week because our designers blew me away. As you guys know, our current featured designer, Captivated Visions, has a therapeutic kit in the shoppe that’s a perfect reminder for us that our mistakes don’t define us. Rachel teamed up with Ru for Mistakes Don’t Define You and they’re wonderful together. Rachel has scooped with Ru several times before but she isn’t the only one she’s worked with. I asked her to share some of her favorite scoops of all time with you guys and here are the amazing kits she picked along with a little inspiration from our Babes & Designers too!
I asked Rachel what she loves most about scooping with the other designers and if she has any plans in the works for scoops in the future, and here’s what she had to say…
I just adore the team environment at Sweet Shoppe and the culture of working with other designers often it pushes me outside of my comfort zone and helps me to get to know the other designers better, everyone has so much talent and we are all diverse! It’s great to have a design buddy who you can brainstorm with and bounce ideas around with! Our scoops and dips are not mandatory, so the frequency of designers working together speaks for itself about our relationship with one another.
I do, I have another scoop with Rubia coming up in our silent battles series and I also have another one that will follow but its super secret at the moment but you’ll see!!
I can’t create as fast as some of the other girls and I try to keep my schedule realistic so that I don’t stress myself out so much, so there really are lots of designers I haven’t had the chance to work with yet but if I had to pick one I think a collaboration with KCB would be sooooo special, I’ve been wanting to work with her for years!
