Hot 4 Hybrid – playing with templates
Hello! SaraL here with this weeks H4H. As I am sure you will know, the Sweet Shoppe is overflowing with an amazing variety of templates, which were primarily designed to help you to create gorgeous layouts, but which can also be very useful in getting your hybrid mojo flowing! Let me share a few ideas with you again.
Do you ever see a kit or template and ‘pop!’, you can just see how you’re going to use it? Well, I had one of those moments when I saw this little number from Lauren Reid:
… together with it and Libby’s All About the Wordplay, I made this rather useful family week planner:
When I first opened the template, I immediately resized it to 8x8in so that when I did finally print it out on to A4 card, it would fit perfectly. Then – the best bit – I had fun adding the papers, alphas and elements, plus a couple of emergency contact numbers that I know will never change (the doctors, school etc) so that they are always simple to find, ensuring I included space for each day, a mini shopping list and a couple of other things as you can see above.

I love your ideas! These posts never fail to make me want to do more hybrid. So far, I’ve only ever done ONE hybrid project. A card. Which I made 2 weeks ago and still haven’t mailed. Ha!
