30 Days of Gratitude: Day 25
Lynnette is thankful for the holiday season.
Today is November 25th which means we’re officially only one month away from one of my favorite holidays of the year, Christmas! While I’ve always been a fan of Christmas – what’s not to like between all the lights, music and good food? – since marrying my military husband and moving thousands of miles away from my family, I’ve become especially thankful for this time of year.
While I may see bits and pieces of my family throughout the year, Christmas is the one time of the year where everyone comes together to celebrate. It’s not always easy or drama-free, but I’m so thankful to live in a time when a few hours on an airplane can get us halfway across the country so we can catch up and make new memories with those we love.
And hey Christmas cookies and presents don’t exactly hurt either.
