Wow!!  So many pretty things!  I love these featured designer 15 sales, it reminds me of all the goodies I need to add to my wish list!  One day I’ll get to use them all.

We asked Mirjam to share some of her favorite layouts from around the community that really showcase her designs.  I know you can’t wait to see them and read what she had to say about each layout.

Mirjam: So what made me pick these pages is that I wanted to try and show you that I create my kits as versatile as possible so they will match many different styles of scrapping.
The Pink Ladies (that’s how we call the team) also have very different styles but I am happy to say that most of them have been on my team for ages and still enjoy playing with my goodies 😉

There’s always a generous amount of elements in different types, styles and textures in my kits. I also love to add paints, transfers, ephemera, word strips and artsy bits and of course there’s thread and/or stitches, buttons, brads and tape (things to adhere elements to a page). Enough patterned papers and solids to mix, match and blend to create more than one page and allow you to use the kit again and again. There’s plenty to make an album or a fun hybrid project too.

Mirjam: Cynthia is able to successfully include just about every element on a page that I included in a kit and she makes it look so easy but I can tell you the woman knows what she is doing when she is putting together a page. Right!?I love how this page just oozes fun and happy times and isn’t it amazing that with that explosion of elements there’s still plenty of room for that great photo of her daughter Sarita?!

Mirjam: Christa loves to try out new techniques and incorporates those in her pages. I have seen her scrap so many different styles of pages over the past years! She is a true scrap artist and paper blender extraordinaire! She also loves to take photos of all kind of animals so it was no surprise to me that she added photos of real dragonflies on her page for the Anisoptera collection.
I love all the yummy layers of paints, artsys, elements, cards and photos here. The beautiful shadows help create a certain lightness and delicateness that goes so perfect with the theme and I think the page is a perfect example of her paper blending skills.

Mirjam: What I love about Stefanie’s style is that she always gets more out of a kit then there’s actually in it! She is so creative in putting together her pages and using stuff in a different way by blending papers or cutting them up for example. In this page you can see how she perfectly blended 2 papers creating a playful wash of birthday cakes over doilies. I also love that gorgeous cluster at the top left with the wordart incorporated and that triangle of elements around those cute photos with the title and journaling perfectly embedded. Definitely also one of her fortes.

Mirjam: Ellen is a queen of layers. She knows how to stack, place and shape clusters of elements like many cannot even begin to imagine (including me). And I love, love, love her shadowing!
The tiptoe, delicate placement of the elements in this page immediately makes me think of a beautiful spring day. A day where the sun is shining, a soft breeze is moving the curtains, you can hear birds singing and you can smell the freshly mown grass. A new mommy is holding her baby that is falling asleep feeling safe and content with a full tummy and all is good in the world…..Bliss. I admire how she took me to that feeling with the design of her page!

Mirjam: Cheryl’s pages are always filled with her positive, sweet, creative, quirky and bubbly personality. Pick a page, any page of her and you will instantly see that it was made by someone that truly enjoys the art of scrapping and I so love and admire that about her. Using a handful of, preferably, large elements, placed playfully around photos of (in most cases) her beautiful family or photos of stunning views of where she lives. It’s something that I love about scrapping and our scrapbooking community. We get to see and share such private moments, details and thoughts though our art and how amazing is it to see someone’s children or grandchildren be born and grow up on their pages!

Mirjam: Marijke’s style is clean and simple which may suggest that there is not a lot going on but this page clearly shows that that is absolutely not the case.
The whole design is put together so cleverly! Every little detail is exactly where she wanted it.  The layered stamps, colors and patterns under the photo create the most amazing feeling off depth and the 3 red elements add interest and balance the page brilliantly.  I love everything about it and I love taking my time to go over a page like this and absorb the attention to detail.

I just love all of these layouts!  So much fun and so different.  Be sure to stop in on Tuesday when Mirjam’s sale officially kicks off and stop in next Friday to see who our next featured designer is.
