May Sweet Shoutouts
Greetings sweet scrappers! I hope you are all fully recovered from the iNSD festivities! Wasn’t that a blast? I loved watching the gallery grow so much during our celebration week! As usual, as I was browsing to write this blog post, I was blown away by the fantabulous community layouts! SSD has the most talented scrapping-community on the web, hands down! Here are just a few of the beauties I found …
Stormchaser’s page is so full of detail, and her use of Digital Scrapbook’s Wanderer: Keep Exploring was a great choice! From the greenery tucked under her awesome photos to the mix of patterned papers, her page is awesome!
Wow! MrsPeel nailed the magazine challenge with her stunning page! The photo is so cool and makes a perfect background for her layout. The different fonts showcased add so much interest and I love that each little blurb highlights things about their cruise! JoCee Designs Let’s Cruise kit was a excellent choice!
Scrappy_donna’s page definitely gives off a 100% Hawaiian vibe! The coloring of the photos, matched with the tropical elements from Island Time by Traci Reed makes for a beautiful layout!
Both AmaneseFe and Romajo used Sweet Doll’s Wild and Fearless kit to create their layouts. The difference between the two pages is dramatic! I love the scattered flowers adorning AmaneseFe’s page and the addition of the string and gold paint are superb. The flowers in Romajo’s beautiful photos flow together with the well-placed flower elements. The use of the dark background gives her page a striking look!
Not only did the dark background catch my eye, but the dreamy layered clusters on DownHome’s page really drew me in. The dark frame works well too! Flerg’s RTM: Magical Vacation was an excellent choice to scrap her Disney photo!
LisaMT used KCB and Flerg’s Boyhood Adventures to scrap her fun photos. The shadows she’s used give her amazing clusters a remarkable amount of depth, they are very realistic looking! It looks like it was a super fun day hanging out on the tire swing!!
Doesn’t MirandaB’s layout just make you smile? The extraction of her future rock-star is flawless! The addition of the paint brings her page all together! The most recent SSD collab, Rock, Paper, Scissors was just waiting to be used with her photo!
And last, but certainly not least, Josie’s fun and imaginative page is filled to the brim with elements from Kelly Bangs Creative’s Imagine That kit. such a creative way to use the elements and journaling cards! I like how the horizontal lines on the background paper help anchor everything together! She’s created a wonderful photo-less page!
