Make A Card
Hello, it’s Andrea here and I have a mini tutorial to make a hybrid card for you today.
Resize papers and elements to fit a card blank, print and cut. Notice how I have erased the centre of one of the papers? I knew it would be covered up so there is no point in wasting ink.
Now, I could have just adhered the papers and elements onto my cardblank and whilst it would have looked okay the papers don’t have any definition to them and they seem to merge into each other
So, I matted the patterned papers onto white cardstock and trimmed leaving a small border to really make them stand out
Adhere the paper pieces using foam pads to give extra dimension and knot a length of ribbon around the top layer
Add a panel with the birdie or other embellishment printed on it
Print a second bird element and cut out his wing, curl the wing between your finger and thumb to make it stick out a bit and attach with a foam pad
Now you’ll have a sweet little birdie card all ready to send off to a friend
Materials used:
Papers and birdie element – Atomic Bounce by Melissa Bennet
Ribbon – Papertrey Ink
