Hot 4 Hybrid Wednesday
Hello Sweet Shoppers, are you ready to get your gluestick and scissors out and start playing with paper again? Today I want to share a shaped card with you. I *love* making shaped cards from digital elements because all the hard work (ie making the shape) has been done for you and all you have left to do is the pretty stuff!
First off select your digital element, resize to the correct size for your card (and envelope) and then print and cut out
Because I wanted to make a real princess type of card I went all out glittery and covered my entire image in glue (I used a Tombow gluestick) then some super sparkly orange Doodlebug glitter
Next I glued the entire image onto a sheet of white cardstock and cut it out leaving a narrow border all around
Attach this to a folded sheet of cardstock and then cut around your image to make the shaped card. To add some extra dimension to the card I printed a tag and tied it onto the pumpkin stalk with some very narrow green ric rac braid and a green button
Hey Presto! A fancy sparkly princess card in the shape of a Pumpkin carriage
Happy crafting, love Andrea xx
Supplies used:
Enchanted: Bippity Boppity by Traci Reed
Doodlebug Glitter
Ric Rac from The Ribbon Girl

Long time ago I made two types of invitation with the pumpkin coach. At the time I was crazy trying to find a pumpkin carriage design beautiful, pity not to have encountered this, would help me a lot. I ended up making my own design, it was pretty cool, then if interested you can see here, http://www.favasdesign.com/2009/08/convites-de-casamento-e-infantil.html and here, http://www.favasdesign.com/2009/10/convite-carruagem-modelo-escolhido.html
Congratulations on the card, it was so beautiful! Fabi.

You know it never occurred to me how easy it is to make a card out of just about any shape. Thanks for the inspiration, Andrea! Love that blingy pumpkin!
