Hot 4 Hybrid Wednesday

I love Wednesdays – not just because it’s the middle of the week and almost the weekend! but because the hybrid girls take over the blog and todays post is a nice quick and simple creation that everyone can do because all you need is a gluestick.  No fancy tools required and, I reckon if you have a hunt around in the kitchen drawer or in your children’s art supplies you’ll find just what you need –  a plain old gluestick and a pair of scissors!

I love playing with paper and pretty embellishments but just because you don’t have the tools or accessories that I have shouldn’t mean that you don’t consider hybrid crafting.

I made this pretty birthday card and envelope set

I used Julie Billingsley’s Wonderous kit and the envelope template from Heather Roselli’s cards and card holder templates kit and you can download the flattened files of these by following this link  so that you can make your own 🙂

And ……… if you want to be really clever – after you’ve printed the envelope design turn your paper over and feed it back into your printer and select a paper to print on the back which will become the inside when you cut it out and glue it together!

If you like making cards or would enjoy the challenge of making your first card then keep your eyes open in the forums this Saturday as it is World Cardmaking Day and there ‘might’ 😉 be challenges and prizes happening!!

Have fun, love Andrea xx
