365 Days of Bliss – School Vacation
Hi everyone this is me Jacq posting about our 365 days of bliss today 🙂
Our school year starts in January which means this week is our first week of school vacation, I’ve been looking forward to having a break from school so this week has been great so far. I plan to do fun/crafty things with my eldest come December but this week is just a laidback, nothing much to do week for us. I figured after a great school year for her she deserves to have a break and well that goes for me too.
My daughter loves to read, she loves Dr. Seuss’ books so she’s been doing a lot of reading on her own this week. She would just grab a book (or five) from her bookshelf and read quietly in one corner, we read together too and she loves reading aloud with me but mostly she does her reading in her room by herself.
She also loves to draw so you will find her where the mess of crayons, color pencils and markers are after lunch. I bought her a new sketchbook and I think she’s almost out of pages and the week is not even over yet. Mostly she draws girls/princesses but sometimes she makes these comic strip type of drawing which I think is so neat. I love it when she gets all creative and let her imagination run wild, ahhh it’s fun to be a five year old.
I’m loving school vacation so far, I know it will only get better as the holiday season gets closer, ahhh bliss!
