Happy Friday Y’all!! It finally feels like fall here in Michigan, how’s the weather in your part of the world? We have a new featured designer, Wendy of WendyP Designs! As you know, our fabulous designers are celebrating some of our most memorable days in our new A Day To Remember series of goodies! A Nice Autumn Day is Wendy’s contribution to the series and it is adorable!!! Perfect for fall or for all of you that are addicted to her sweet little gnomes! Let’s take a peek as this sweet collection!
Isn’t that just darling? Those little gnomes that she creates are just the cutest things! Now, We always send our designers some fun interview questions so we can learn a little more about them, so let’s see what Wendy had to say.
What is your favorite way to spend a day?
In the morning sleeping in a little and than start the day with a walk in the woods with our dog, hubby and kids (it needs to be dry of course). Than scrapping or designing while the kids do their own things too. Than in the evening hanging on the couch with hubby and kids watching series/movies with a pot of tea or a hot cocoa.
What kit are you most proud of creating in the last year? Why?
The collection I’m most proud of is Expecto Patrognome. It first was the plan to make only the 3 main characters for a few t-shirts I wanted to. print for my oldest (who is a huge HP fan.) But I had so much fun creating those that I wanted to make it a full special collection. It was quiet a challenge to make it exact the way I wanted it to be, and to make it the expectations of my daughter who was pretty critical lol. But we both agree that it turned out outstanding. A little hint this one is going to be one of my 15th featured designer sales.
If you could visit anywhere (anyone), where would you go / who would you see and why?
One of my biggest wishes is to fly to the USA and meet some of my dearest friends up there. My only block for doing that is that it is expensive and that I never have been flying before so it will be the first time.
Do you have any pets?
Yes we do have one pet at this moment. Before we had 2 cats, but after they were both passed away we decided to get us a dog. I always have been more a dog person than a cat person (I do love cats but dogs more.) So I was excited we where finally getting one. Meet our little Frenchie named: Storm, He is such a little sweetheart who is 2 years old and our best friend.
Are there any TV shows that you’ve binge watched recently? Why were you hooked?
I am watching Criminal Minds at the moment. I always have loved crime series and always have watch CSI and all spin offs off in the passed. But never took the time to watch Criminal Minds. But recently I saw a few episodes and was hooked so I decided to watch from the beginning, currently I’m season 3.
