Spin Twist’n the Sweet Stuff
Thought Id pop in and share some of my recent experiments with a product from the store. Ive found some fun ways to get a little extra mileage out of Penny’s Shabby Frames and Grungy Edges Product Line. Here’s what they look like in the store:
These products are so so versatile and while they look simply stunning as edge and frame brushes they also come alive when used as clipping and layer masks either in their entirity or modified. Experimenting with masks, layer styles and blend modes I came up with a few samples to wet your appetite.
This first one uses one of the Shabby Frames. Ive enlarged it and even though its not in its original proportions (its now square instead of rectangular) it still works beautifully as a page frame. (note: Papers in the first 2 samples are from Dani’s Retrospect Kit and font used throughout is Darcy’s How Cute am I)
I thoroughly enjoyed my playtime experiments with this product and I hope Ive inspired you to play around with some of your sweet stash in a new way.
